Journal scope
Cellular Therapy and Transplantation is a new international, peer-reviewed, open access journal which publishes articles in the fields of cellular and genetic therapy and transplantation. We welcome original research articles, review articles, or case reports in these areas dealing with the following issues:
- cellular and gene therapy
- stem cell biology
- stem cell transplantation (clinical & experimental)
- clinical research & clinical trials
- experimental models
- gene regulation & signal transduction
- hematopoiesis & hematological malignancies
- non-hematopoietic stem cells
- mesenchymal stromal cells
- regenerative medicine
- genetic and acquired diseases
- transplantation immunology
- immunobiology and immunotherapy of cancer
- methodological advances & technology development
- molecular genetics & gene transfer
- stem cell donorship and banking
- translational research
The following types of scientific contributions are considered:
- Original research articles

Aims and Audience
While the journal is international in scope and publication, one of its aims is to provide a forum for work undertaken by scientists from the former Soviet Union and make it widely accessible. The journal will appear in English, with extended summaries in Russian.
The major criteria for acceptance and publication of a manuscript will be originality, high quality, scientific rigor, and interest to a wide audience of readers.
Papers accepted for publication in CTT will be made available on this site at no charge to readers (Open Access). Authors will retain the copyright of their contributions.
Right from the start, search results in engines like Google and Google Scholar will provide good exposure to the articles. CTT is already being indexed by CAS and DOAJ. From issue 5 onwards we hope CTT will also be indexed in PubMed. For the first three issues there will be no publication charges.
